Perfect for StovepipeDespite not being recommended for wood/coal stoves, I used this high temperature tape to seal my wood stove flue collar, and it works great. Airtight, with no shrinkage/deterioration whatsoever!
the only stuff rated for flues
I do energy audits and teach BPI courses. This is the only metal tape I could find rated for 600F. Most other tapes that most people use are not rated for the high temperature that a flue can reach, especially oil appliances.
Great tape to use on the grill
I used to mask some vents on my gas grill to stop heat from escaping.Tape withstood repeated cooking and show no sign of coming off even after being on the outside in rain for many months.

A useful productI bought a stove top smoker a few years ago and although I do not use it everyday, I do tend to use it quite often. The problem is that I cannot find the fine wood chips at the regular stores like Wal-mart or Target. These store usually have the really large chips or blocks but not the fine dust like chips one needs for this type of smoker. I have looked at other online stores and found the chips but they were more expensive than at Amazon. What I also like is that this particular pack of chips has an assortment for using with various different meats such as for smoking fish, pork chops, etc. Also, since the smoker I have is a Cameron brand, this is perfect. I especially like the alder for Salmon.
Great chips
This is my third order. I should be ordering the gallon size, put this particular offer was a great value, I couldn't pass up. The Cameron smoker is one heck of an item also. So far, I've gotten seven friends to purchase both sizes. Everythine from salmon to turkey gets smoked in this house, and all with these chips and the Cameron smoker!

This product seemed to be a bargain: 4 different smoking chips for under $14. The product description on Amazon: "Cameron Cookware Alder, Hickory, Oak, and Cherry Wood Smoking Chips, Set of 4"That's it. Nothing more, except for the image, which shows four plastic containers. Your mind says these are large containers. Seems like you're getting a lot of chips. Nope. You're not getting a lot and they're not even chips.Here's what's missing from the description:1) Volume. The text does not say, and the image does not indicate that the containers are 1 pint each. No more than the size of a coffee mug!2) Chip size. These are not "chips" at all. They are sawdust - literally.3) Required hardware. Apparently these "chips" are to be used with the Cameron Smoker Box. Wood/pellet stove or just wood stove advice needed, good ideas ?
I live in Oregon . I would like to get a woodstove or pellet stove. I have heated with an Orley wood stove from 1976-1986, so I know wood stoves& cords of wood. I live in another home & it is all set for a woodstove, nice big stone hearth etc.
Boy, can I relate.
I have just about every method of keeping warm.
Everything is expensive.
Oil, Much too expensive.
Electric, Ditto
Propane is too expensive.
Wood Stove, wood here in PA is between 140-180
