i purchased two auger motors, one for myself the other for a friend. the price is fantastic , most places sell them for 120 dollars or more. was at my house in 3 days (cant beat that) made some purchases from this store before , great quality. i strongly recomend this store to any one that needs a motor

Great Value!
Based on another person's review of this motor, we purchased it. The reviewer had the same pellet stove as us (American Harvest from US Stove) and said that this motor worked well for him. We'd looked all over for an affordable replacement motor and couldn't find one. We'd purchased replacement motors from our stove manufacturer before, and they didn't last very long (and were $120). This motor is fabulous so far. We've had no troubles with it. It makes no noise that we can hear. It seems to be built at least as well as the expensive alternatives and is half the price! YAY!As the other reviewer stated, it turns the wrong way for our stove, but it hasn't mattered because it only stirs the firepot; we're not using it as an auger motor. It comes with instructions on how to change the direction if you need to. And we also had to get a hole drilled in the shaft for the pin, which was no small thing. We tried a drill press--shaft was too hard. We had to take it to a machine shop...

Price Gouging?
Had been watching the price of this part all summer and it sat at $99. Finally decided to attempt to purchase one, went to add it to my cart, price jumped to $150! Funny how the price changed just as the heating season is about to start. Oddly enough the price of many other fans has not changed at all. Even at $99 this part is over priced, how someone can justify raising it another $50 is beyond me, sounds a lot like price gouging. I guess it just proves the theory it isn't what the part is worth, it is what you can get for it.Did a little research and according to the cross-reference at Fasco's web page this is an A082 which you can find for well under $100 here and elsewhere. Don't believe me, get the Rotom master catalog and look this part up, you will see that it replaces a Fasco 7021-9129. Then go to Fasco's website and cross that number and you will see what I discovered.Keep in mind that this is NOT OEM it is a cheap 'universal' replacement motor with...

i have an avalon 900 pellet stove and can't get it working if you have experence with this stove please help ?

i have checked every snap disc and switch and tried two different control boxes still i get nothing by the way i have checked all the fuses i am at the end of my rope can anyone help is there a test procedure for the control box if so please let me know

I would like to know more about the problem. Is there no power, does it start then stop, Is it doing anything? One thing I would check on units used more than a year is the vac switch. Pull the hose off and blow through it to see if it is obstructed

Why wont my auger on my pellet stove light?

I have an avalon astoria pellet stove that we bought last winter, it worked fine up until this year. When I put it to automatic/thermostat the auger will NOT light, it will keep dropping pellets but never light. I switch it to manual and it still wont

The safest way to fix this problem is to call a service company that woks on this type of system.
