Great kitchen wastebasketfits under my kitchen counter- durable -fits tall kitchen garbage bags that can be bought in bulk.
Perfect replacement for hard-to-find Original
Perfect replacement for under-counter pull-out kitchen wastebasket [our original hardware was installed during a kitchen remodel in 2001; no brand name is visible]. Searched the big box stores; neither Rubbermaid nor anyone else seems to make the original plastic wastebasket [top 15 1/2 x 9 1/4 inches, base 12 1/2 x 6 3/8 inches, height 18 inches (dimensions are "outside" measurements)]. Over time, the stress of pulling on the basket rim will crack the top of the basket. THIS is a perfect replacement; seems to be made of the same flexible plastic or vinyl, and it should last another 10 years or so. Only "super saver shipping" would have made this a better deal...
It fits perfectly in our old slide out drawer
This replacement wastebasket fits perfectly in our 11 year old slide out trash can drawer. We looked all over town for a replacement and couldn't find anything close to the right size. This one feels sturdy and we are happy with it.

Holy cow!!! It really worksI used this to restore all of the oak cabinets in my house. Our house was built in 1988 and had fairly upscale Merilat cabinets that were just worn and faded. In the bathrooms, we had a lot of hzings, greying, and checking.After using Restor-a Finish, the cabinets looked practically brand new!! A few things to note, though:#1 - The grain in the wood becomes more pronounced and more defined. Imagine oak cabinets with the grain depth of hickory.#2 - the final finish is quite dull. In our situation, a klitchen with dark red walls and stainless/black appliances, the dull satin finish worked really well. In the bathrooms, we ended up using a bees wax product to give them some luster.#3 - While the product is easy to use, it is still labor intensive. We used the steel wool method of applying, after wiping the cabinets down witha high quality acidic wood wash that we got though our local woodshop. That cut through all of the grease and gunk...
Good Stuff; Just do it right
I used this product on my kitchen table after being tired of always covering the beautiful birch top with a tablecloth to hide the water stains & heat marks. Other than these the table was in very nice shape. I tried just using a soft cloth and it seemed all it did was brighten it up a bit. I then used the 0000 steel wool pad recommended and after SEVERAL attempts, the marks did disappear somewhat. I think if I were to do it again, I might venture to a 000 pad instead. It looks better; I just expected the marks to completely disappear. Oh, one point--don't worry too much about an "exact" color match--as long as it's close it blends right in. I did follow up with the Howard's Feed-n-Wax which did a good job of smoothing out the finish on the table.

Hidden treasureThis product is great for storing many items, however it requires some handy work to put together if it is not the exact size for your area of installion. My husband had to do quite a bit of math and configuring to get this to fit properly around our countertop back splash and altering the height. I stained it as well, which was very easy to do and the wood accepted the stain nicely.
NOT WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE
I bought this to match a previously installed appliance garage. After going through all the color choices carefully, I picked this one. Boy was I surprised when I got it and it was unfinished wood and no the color advertised at all. Next nightmare was installation. The instructions do not work on already installed cabinetry. Good thing 'improvise' is in my nature, but geezzz. Next, and most annoying, is that I paid the price for OAK. If you have to actually cut this to fit, you quickly find out it is PRESSBOARD COATED WITH A THIN OAK VENEER. What a load of misleading advertising. BUYER BEWARE!
Geat buy
This appliance garage was the perfect finishing touch to our kitchen re-do. My husband is not a professional carpenter, but he had little trouble installing it. We painted it and it took paint well. It hides a "ton of junk" I need, but don't necessarily want sitting out on the counter. I am very pleased with it.

Great replacement shelf!
I was a little nervous about this fitting, but my hubby got it installed within a few minutes, and the cabinet is good as new (one of the kids had used it as a step stool and broke the shelf). I told him he should have made it look harder, because I was stuck with the broken one so long :). Seems sturdy, and you'd never know it was a replacement.

Your Merillat cabinet is a very good quality cabinet over all. Planing ahead and having all the parts there is the most important. So any DIY w/ basic skills can easily do it GL

The Northport door is a laminate door-not wood, so you cannot strip it like one poster suggested. Probably the best way to do it would be to make sure you use a very good primer like Zinsser Bull's Eye before painting. Once you've taken care of priming
