I have a Hampton Bay ceiling fan and can't figure out how to remove the light cover. Also, the idiot that installed it put the fan blades on upside down. How can I fix this?
A little research shows they have them at Home Depot. I would go there and ask. Looking at the picture of it, I can't see how you could possibly put the fan blades on upside down.

I've got a Hampton Bay remote controlled ceiling fan. The model number on the remote is UC7030T. I found the switches in the remote, but where are the switches on the fan? I need to change the frequency because it's getting interference from somewhere
Take the canopy down from the fan(the part that hides the mount and wires), the control module is in there or should be, if not there look on top of the motor of the fan....hope this helps

We went to install it, on a 4 foot down pole, like the Hampton Bay 48 inch and found, unlike all other standard fans, it takes a 1/2 inch rod instead of the industry standard 3/8's inch rod. Unlike ALL ceiling fans we have owned for more than 25-30 years, this fan, ON HIGH, moved like most fans on low to medium. We had a Hampton Bay 48 inch outdoor fan from Home Depot up but wanted a wider radius. The 48 inch fan had great RPM's and a great wind/breeze maker but was just not wide enough to cover our deck at the lake. We thought we had something hooked up wrong, so we spend 2 hours taking it back down, analizing it and putting it back up to find it still moved slower on high than any other fan we have ever seen. So we opted for this 60 inch outdoor fan. I bought this fan to put outside at our Boat slip at the marina....
