Easy install, not so silent operation, looks good, inexpensive
On a budget and gave this fan a try.Stuff not mentioned in description:The maple color on one side of the blades is a very light tone. The included pull chains could be longer than 3 inches. The ends of the pull chains are black in color and the chains look enough like brushed nickel I guess. The decorative piece that covers motor and mounting bracket is indeed a brushed nickel or good look alike. The metal pieces that hold the fan blades to the motor are painted to look like brushed nickel so be careful when bolting on the blades and use the cardboard cutouts that go between the blade and the bracket. The included screws for attaching the fan blades to the brackets are chrome, not brushed nickel finish like I would have thought.INSTALL:Easy to install if you are replacing an existing ceiling fan with this one!FEATURES:The motor on this fan is pretty small so don't expect to make a tornado in your room with this. It does a good job...

Built strong & cheap
I purchased this fan because I needed a fan for a small room 12 x18. The fan was easy to install.. i was concern about the lighting from the reviews I read.. Lighting was not a problem I pop in an energy saving bulb lights up the room very well.. The fan is built well I really don;t see any problems with it. Very satisfy.

Decent
Looks good but kinda noisy and the lighting is not very good ( only uses a 40 watt utility bulb). I ordered two ...the first one came right way ...had to canccel the second one as it has been over a month and haven't recieved and never got any follow up on when it would be delivered. SO slightly dissapointed.

Pretty decent
It's a pretty nice ceiling fan, one of the easier ones I've installed. But, this is another fan where they went with the candelabra-base bulbs, so I took off 1 star. You can see on the box where they swapped out "standard base" for "candelabra base", because the box is lighter there (almost like a sticker put over the original text, but it's actually printed). The image, here and on the box, show what appear to be standard base bulbs. At the time of this review, Amazon's product description does not include the type of bulb used, just that it's a max 60 watt.

Very Happy and Pleasantly Suprised!
This fan is wonderful. You will pay at least double in any local home store and the quality cannot be beat. If you are handy install it yourself, it went up in 30 minutes and is super quiet at night. The look of the fan is expensive and the nickel and black finish really provide a clean modern look to our bedroom. I went back and purchased another light fixture from HH, thanks!

I love it!
I dug a little dipper after seeing this on Amazon and called the company myself, they were very helpful and I ordered 2 of these fans, after receiving them thru FedEx I was so excited 2 get started but had to wait for a day off from work to find someone to install them for me, I not all that savvy when it comes to electrical stuff like this. So had a friend install them for me and they look AMAZING, very rich and classy looking also very functional. The perfect look that i was going for, I had one already in my kitchen but it was a 52" and looked way to big and goddy, and I also wanted a 5 blade instead of a 4 blade. Also the fan blades are reversible, one side is light maple the other is cherrywood, just pick whatever side matches your decor and taste both look great i went with the cherrywood, very nice looking. I put one in the master bedroom and one in my kitchen, now i am most likely going back for 1 maybe 2 more to put in other bedrooms. Hope this helped anyones decision

Poor quality
I bought two of these fans. First thing I noticed was that the packaging was not done very carefully.The fan blades were laying in the bottom of the package, not protected except for a thin film wrap. There was slight marring on one of them, but not serious enough to return for that reason. I installed the first one and it worked for a few days then the lights quit working.The fan worked fine,just no lights.I tested the wires and had power so I don't know what the problem was.I then installed the second one and when it was time to put on the glass light shade (bowl)there was a problem. The shade slides up a threaded pipe against a rubber washer then you put a nut on the bottom of the pipe. That is what holds the shade on. The problem was there was not enough pipe threads sticking out to start the nut on and no way of making it longer.I measured the pipe length and compared it to fan #1 and there was a difference. The only way it would go on was to remove the rubber washer on the...

I really like this fan...I bought three! It is quiet and very attractive. I cannot make any comments about installing because I had other folk do the installtion. I think I could have found a cheaper version, but I am a very satisfieed customer.

Very Attractive and Easy to Install!
So you see the photo of this light/fan? See how there is no sign of the Hunter logo in the center of the glass? Well, when you get the fixture, you'll find a big white logo stenciled onto the glass. You cannot miss it. I'm giving this fixture one star unless I can somehow remove the logo. Will post an update when I've either accomplished that or ruined the glass.**UPDATE** I used nail polish remover and some Q-tips. Removed the logo perfectly. No damage to the frosted glass, it seems. I'll upgrade my review again once installed.

Why logo? Why?????
This made a world of difference compared to the cheapo builder-installed fan it replaced--much quieter. It clears the steam out nicely in my small bathroom. The electrician said it installed easily. I wish it came with plain frosted glass rather than the marble effect, but it still looks nice.

Great for Tents
This is a nice tent fan and light combo. Uses only 2 D batterys, good light, lights up large tents.As would be expected a fan this small will not move much air in a large tent but works fine for smaller tents.The fan and light can be adjusted in the direction you want and also be placed close to you for more light / air movement.Works as well asthe Coleman version.

The light is nice and the fan works well. However, the fan makes a high-pitched whining sound, so you can't use it while you sleep. (Unless you're a deep sleeper)

The Little Fan that Could...
This is a great little fan for camping. The only thing I wish were better is if it could blow a little harder when the light is on. Otherwise, being able to have a great light and fan in one is ingenius. My son and I love it!
