color is inacurateThe rolls arrived quickly and customer service was very helpful. The color though is completely off. In reality it is a lot more amber and the wood print is not very realistic. If you look at the manufacturer's website[...]you can see a more realistic image. I have not yet used the product so i don't know how it will perform...
For the price, what's not to love
For the price, this is a wonderful solution to cabinets. I have old cabinets and I wanted to protect things from potential snags. Works as good as any other contact like paper. The pattern is not very realistic but it works for us.
The lightest I could find, but still a bit too dark.
I allowed my electrician to punch a hole in the back of my mid-grade kitchen cabinet to install a light. We thought we would replace the cabinets shortly thereafter, but changed our minds. I purchased this despite the reviews about the mismatched color because no local retailers carried anything remotely like my fake maple cabinet interior. After we patched the hole, I used this to cover the back wall to obcure the jagged edge of the patch. It is noticably darker than the walls, shelves and floor, but still blends in with the overall look of the fake maple laminate. The woodgrain markings, while exactly the same as the "oak" versions are obscured so they don't stand out. I wish the manufacturer would make a truly blonde wood color, but this worked for now and it was certainly cheaper than replacing even one kitchen cabinet.

Win some, lose someAfter reading the June 8, 2007 review, I was worried about the quality of packaging. When this desk arrived at my front door, I saw that my fears were justified. The package was compact, leaving little room for protective material like bubble wrap. Careless handling might have caused some damage. Fortunately, my desk arrived in perfect condition. The legs, desk top, and keyboard tray were all wrapped to protect against scratches.This is one of the few products not made in China. It was made in Thailand.The wrench needed to attach the legs was included, and I used my Phillips screwdriver to screw on the front knob. The magnets are too powerful, making it difficult to pull open the keyboard compartment. I solved that problem by placing four pieces of transparent packing tape over the magnets. Great little table.
I bought this desk because I wanted a simple desk that matched the color of my kitchen table. It really is what it is, simple. The design is simple, the assembly is simple. That's not a hit against it because if that's not what you're looking for obviously you wouldn't be looking at this desk.Anyway, there isn't much to say about it, it's put together well, and it's solid after it's assembled.As far as the packaging goes, the other people that have reviewed this are spot on correct. The packaging looks like something you'd get from a table you bought at Wal-Mart. This is fine when all you have to do is run it from the store to your house, but it's really inadequate for cross country shipping. There isn't enough give in the packaging to be very forgiving of any mishandling. Luckily mine showed up just fine, but keep that in mind when you order one of these.
Better than expected!
Love the desk! Good quality and the only assembly required was putting the legs on. Even the sliding keyboard tray had the "rolling tracks" already together. Highly recommended!
Do or don't kichen color?
I want to paint an accent wall in my kitchen/breakfast area. I have blonde oak cabinets (really light), black appliances, and my countertops have balck and brown in them. Most of the color would be in the breakfast area, so my chosen color would not
Absolutely!! If it's a darker chocolate, I'd use a bit of a bright accent color- maybe a light blue or teal, or a warm yellow/ salmon color for the accessories.

Interior decorating help please?
I am in the process of updating a kitchen with new flooring and need advice. My style is country cottage/french country. We hav decided to put down hardwood and can't make up my mind on the right color tone. While I love the blonde natural Oak color,
If your cabinets are a cream paint color, any flooring that is natural blonde will be washed out by the neutral color of the cabinets. When you are choosing flooring, try to go for the more popular and striking look of dark hardwood.

Of the six Maria tried, which included a semi-sweet hard apple cider, Incider, from Two Towns Ciderhouse out of Corvallis, she liked the cider and the Golden Naked Blonde. There weren’t many selections available for her gluten intolerance and non-dairy restriction, but being the professional menu modifier that she is, Maria decided on a salad she spotted on the specials chalkboard: The Crispy Pig Ear Salad. Maria found the Incider’s apple, honeysuckle and citrus flavors really pleasing, and the ale’s low IBUs created a smooth enough beer, perfect for her liking. The Poutine fries at Falling Sky comes with a mushroom gravy sauce and cheese curds. Poutine is a common Canadian dish where French fries are covered with cheese and a brown gravy sauce. What needed modifying was the pig ear, so Maria asked for chicken instead. Maria had a difficult time deciding.

This was a special time for my family and I can’t think of a better place to celebrate this most joyous time of the season than in Meridian *and with Meridian*. Snowball fights usually degenerated into ice ball fights and you certainly didn’t want pasted up beside the head with a hard, wet ice ball.
