Package needs to be corrected apparentlyMy first receipt of this item proved a no go. One of the doors was cracked with a huge chunk sticking up where someone apparently laid something on the box. Thank goodness for Amazon no hassle return. A new one was immediately shipped out. Well, that one arrived with a piece broken as well due to poor packaging. However, this piece I could fix myself with a little wood glue. I had waited so long to find the piece that I wanted in my back entry way that I didn't want to send another one back.Easy to put together for the most part. I still have two screws that I haven't put in yet into the top of the cabinet as I cannot figure out how they go in. Since it is out of the way and only used to hide tools in when I come in from the barn, it works.It's definitely not top of the line but it is worth what you pay for it, especially with free shipping.

this product is rather flimsy and not worth the amount i paid for it. the sides are cardboard, the back is cardboard. it works for me merely because it is in an alcove and i needed these dimensions to fit the space. because it fits, only the front is seen. assembly was so/so, meaning it was a two person undertaking. i wouldn't say don't purchase it just know the front is the best part. the frame is wood, the top and doors are wood, the shelves are wood. but the sides and back are merely cardboard and not attractive standing alone on a wall. like i stated it works in an alcove.this item was purchased through amazon.com.

I just got my handles today...they were here 4 business days after I ordered them! The packaging was great. All 40 pulls came along with the exact amount of screws. The screws are strong and the pulls are simply gorgeous! Solid metal, not a single scratch on one. Each pull came individually wrapped. I looked at numerous pulls at big name hardware stores and the cheapest I could find was $2.67 in a matte black that was VERY plain. These are classy and look beautiful on my newly painted white cabinets. I spray painted my hinges to match and it looks SOOO good. I am extremely happy and will order through this company again! Surprise!I'm really impressed with this item. It is made of a very high quality metal, and the design includes a soft, thin velvety lining which protects the surface of the door. I considered awarding it four stars because the unit has a tendency to slip sideways , getting itself slightly out of alignment, but I finally figured out that that happened when I tore a towel off with a sideways pull. Now I put one hand on the roll when I tear off a towel and it slides nowhere. Tah Dah! It's nice to have one more item off the countertop in my small kitchen. Good deal!
Where I Need It When I Need It !!!
I had been looking for a solution to place my paper towels out of the way but have them handy for sometime and this is it!!I did not want a paper towel holder that required drilling into my cabinets and was tired of my standing paper towel holder that seemed to always be in the way and never where I needed it when I needed it. The magnetic paper towel holders were not an option for me since several reviewers complained of them marring the finish on the fridge as they slide downward.I mounted this over the top of the window valance that is above my sinks in the galley. I absolutely loved the space saving idea of this paper towel holder. Seeing that it would fit "most" cabinet doors and drawers, I ordered it and anxiously waited. When it arrived, I was deeply disappointed when it would not fit over any cabinet or drawer in my kitchen. After I admitted to myself it wasn't going to work, I offered it to my Mom, and low and behold...it would not fit in her kitchen either.

Great radio for garage workshopI have been looking for an inexpensive radio for my work bench for quite a while. What I really wanted was an AM/FM radio that I could mount out of the way and that also supported an input for my MP3 player. I was starting to think that no such item existed until I came across this radio - so I bought it and mounted it under my work bench.The sound quality is good for a radio in this price range and there is a handy battery backup for whenever the power gets cut momentarily (which is fairly common out there just because I'm always dinking around with stuff). I also love that my MP3 player hooks up so easily, which gives me acces to pretty much all my music when I don't feel like listening to the radio. I installed this in my kitchen underneath a cabinet and it looks great. It's only about 4 inches in height or seemingly less, and was easy to install with the paper hole alignment guide provided. You put the paper guide into the cabinet and then you use a drill to make the holes through the bottom of the cabinet. I countersunk the screws into the wood by using a slightly larger drill bit to make small areas for the screw head. I didn't use the provided spacers, and instead just mounted the unit flush against the cabinet, and it looks great!Now about the unit, the sound is great for our kitchen. I always leave the megabass setting on, without it it does not fill them room as well. I can crank this unit way up and hear it in all the rooms of my house, and it does not sound bad or like the speakers are going to break. Black and Decker Spacemaker Can OpenerWe really like this can opener. We have always had the Black and Decker Spacemakers and never had any problems with them. I have seen many negative reviews on this can opener, and it is not the machine. It is the impatient Operators of this device. If you take your time, and match the can up to the cutter, hold the bottom of the can with your left hand finger of choice while it is opening the can, it will be a complete opening success for you. No matter HOW Large or Small the can is. I love the feature of this one's door. It opens partially for opening a small can or all the way down for big can's. The appearance is what we wanted too. Stay away from this one
Why did they stop making under the counter can openers that actually work! I purchased this one when my old one died and it's being shipped back for a refund.Don't buy this if you want to open a tall can. The door will open but it does not go down flat but stuck out at an angle so you can only get short cans in.If you will notice in the description, it does not state that it will open any size cans. I'm not interested in a bag cutter, etc.....I wanted a can opener that worked. They really messed up on this one big time.
Nice opener/difficult installation
I agree with the other reviewers about the mounting design on this can opener, the front screw openings need to be moved back about an inch. The first time we installed it, the lever wouldn't open all the way. I was able to open a can, but I knew it was going to bother me that I couldn't fully lift the lever. There were two problems. The can opener needed to be moved forward (although with the cabinet overhang that wasn't going to be enough), and it need to be lower. So we moved the holes forward as much as possible and bought additional spacers. The lever opens completely now. The can opener is kind of large, but at least it's not sitting on the counter. Concerning the cover, at first I thought it wouldn't open all the way, but then I played with it a little and it opened completely out of the way to accomodate large cans.

I just repainted my stained kitchen cabinets white (by sanding, priming and painting) and I wish to change the trim to black (we are doing a 50's kitchen.) Any ideas on what material I can use to glue to the cabinets?

for 50's try Formica...you can buy edging strips or it cuts and snaps off with a Formica razor cutter. Or find a wall paper and cut it to size? Cover it with a good clear sealant so it doesn't damage from high use.
