GREAT Clippers !After several years of giving myself "buzz-cuts" I decided to go for a quality set of clippers. I had been using one of those kits which included all of the plastic guards etc. which fell in the $30 price range at Target. There is NO comparison. The Oster Classic 76 is the "Cadillac" of clippers. From the moment you turn them on, you can tell by the smoothness and power of the motor that you have stepped up to top quality clippers. They come with a [1] blade and a [000] blade. I purchased a [0000] which is great for real close shaves or fades. I'm confident these will last for years since I'm using them at home and not in a shop. I would definitely buy this brand again !
Tired of cheap clippers? - this is what you need.
A professional grade clipper to last a lifetime.If you're ready to step up from the cheap disposables most people try to get by with, the Classic 76 is worth considering. All of the parts are serviceable and replaceable meaning it will be around for a long time.That said... these are huge clippers - and whether you can adjust to that or not, the size is still less than ideal. There are other models, from Oster and others, in this same price range that might be more appropriate for the average person.

As a fifteen year vet of the industry, I suppose I have the chops to weigh this pretty decent.Pros-Heavy- duty clipper...with proper care, this thing will outlast that car in your driveway...no kidding.Mows through the thickest, toughest hair effortlessly.Clipper blades are interchangeable...meaning...if you invest in the metal blades in different sizes, your cuts will be much more polished, fades look immaculate. If you can't do the metal blades, then there are plastic options. Keep in mind they won't cut nearly as clean, but nice for beginners.Cons-Heavy duty is great if you have the hand size and the wrist power to use it ALL DAY. I am a woman with small hands and I can't get my fingers all the way around it...thus it can be cumbersome after a while.The noise...imagine an electric hedge trimmer....seriously. A very good set of clippersI don't review many product that I purchase but I have more than a passing familiarity with the regular use of electric clippers even though I'm not a professional barber. I started cutting my own hair about ten years ago when I was assigned to recruiting duty in a city where the barbers were unionized. Getting a haircut every seven days at twice the price of the barbershop on base was more that I could afford.I started out using discount store clippers and learned quickly that most were not capable of cutting thick hair or at least not cutting it quickly. The blades for some consumer grade clippers were just terrible and made of stamped metal that warped over time and pulled hair rather than cutting it.For the past several years I have used Wahl Powerdrive clippers which are consumer grade but significantly better than any others I had tried and lasted for several years. Good clipper, here's some missing info
This clipper is a vast improvement over my old, noisy Wahl. But with all the talk about the included combs (which are also a vast improvement over the Wahl's), nowhere does Amazon or any reviewer mention which specific combs are included--only that there are four of them. So here you go, straight from the side of the box:- 1/2"- 1/4"- 3/8"- BlendingMy work here is done.
Great Clippers
After going from cheapo to cheapo for too long, finally broke down and got a good pair of clippers. Did the research, went with these fast feeds, and boy do I love 'em. Me and a buddy cut eachother's hair at school and these baby's will be paid for in about 3 or 4 cuts. They're not magnetic so you don't get hairs clinging like crazy, and they power through both of our thick heads o hair. And they just have a nice feel, a heftiness, to them when you pick them up.The only thing I would recommend is getting a good attachment set, there is a nice one out there by Oster that has metal spring-loaded clips so they actually stay attached, comes with a bag, real nice. Just get some extra oil, a stiff brush, and maybe some disinfectant at a barber supply store (or online I suppose) and you're set.

Strong and Sharp! High quality!These nail clippers are very high quality and the included nail file and nice case is a nice bonus to keep the clippers stored in. They have stayed very sharp over the past month of using the clippers where as in the past I've always noticed my nail clippers quickly getting tiny nicks in them that dull their ability to clip. These Stainless Steel Nail Clippers haven't given me that problem at all! A GREAT PRODUCT!I bought this product at least 5 years ago. I am a father of 3 boys and I wanted to try a "better" clipper to cut their hair with. I previously used a store bought Wahl that was adequate but I noticed the "pro" razor my barber was using had a different kind of humming sound. I found this razor and read it had a "V5000" motor that was more powerful that the consumer model. I have been using this product to cut my own hair (whatever is left of it!) and my kids have been cutting each others hair for years. This product is great and is very durable. It has a strong motor that makes the job a lot easier.Be careful of using the bare blade to trim your neck. Make sure you move the black bar adjustment towards the middle, or you can cut yourself, as I have a few times. It is actually quite easy to cut your own hair once you get the hang of it!

So far the 5 Star Magic Clip Cippers are the best I've used. It has a nice Taper level quality. It's very easy to work with. Especially when comes to fading. This clipper does live up to it's name. Just becareful with the blade because it's super sharp. I cut myself a couple of times. All in all I recomend this product to anyone.

Talk about sharp!I bought this sharpening system for my Henckels, they are the light of my kitchen and I use them daily for cooking. I hadn't sharpened them since I bought them and the honing just wasn't doing it anymore. I shopped around and found this item at my local hardware store for TWICE the price, so I bought mine here on Amazon.I agree with one of the other reviewers on the size - they are a little small for full size knives, requiring the user to work just a little bit harder. This is the only reason I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars.This sharpening system got my knives razor sharp - literally. I was able to shave hair from my forearm with my Santoku after sharpening with this product. The kit is well made, with the plastic parts being very thick and durable - I expect it to last a while.Because the base is smooth and flat, I recommend putting it down on something non stick (I used a damp towel) when sharpening larger knives, it helped a lot.

I'm going to go into the barber shop business and wanted to know what hair clippers do you recommend for FADES AND BLOWOUTS. I don't want cheap clippers only the best clippers for fades and blowouts. or is there place online where professional barbers
My favorite brands are Andis and Forfex. I don't know of anyplace that pro's can buy tools online, but most city's have stores that only pro's can purchase from. Maly's, CBS, Beauty Alliance, etc. Also amazon.com can be a great place to find good deals

He was a wonderful ride, and I had spent the last two months babysitting him since he had polysaccharide storage myopathy (sugar storage issues leading to muscle cramping and spasms) and tended to tie-up after hard riding.
