I think you need to sharpen your math skills before buying!The squares are 12x12 inches and their are 10 of them. That equals 1440 square inches of coverage - a little over 3 foot by 3 foot! There was nothing misleading about the ad, perhaps only a decimal point on the buyers part. Sounds like a great price - I'm considering buying some.
Description is misleasing
One box of ten tiles do not cover 10 square feet. The tiles are great but I didn't get the value I was looking for in the coverage of the tiles. I got a small area rug not a room size covering. If I read it more clearly I would of just bought an area rug for the same price that was better quality.

Fantastic product! Great job on carpet, pleasantly surprised on tile.I have previously used the to clean the inevitable stains associated with cats and potty training little boys from my Berber carpet. A friend has that cleaner, so I borrowed it on several occasions before finally deciding to get one of my own. Just before I was ready to buy, Good Housekeeping ran a review on the Hoover SteamVac so I looked it up on Amazon. I read the reviews and decided to take my chances with it.I am amazed at the difference in the two machines. The Bissell used to shear off fibers from the carpet and leave a nasty trail of what looks like hairballs behind as I worked. So i've been looking for a steam cleaner for over a week,reading reviews on any steam cleaner that has a review to try to choose one that will work for my family. With all the negative feedback on the Hoover I was disappointed and thought about changing brands. I had a hoover spin scrub and it has worked wonderfully for over 5yrs but with bringing up and down the stairs and my son letting it pound on the stairs the front plate broke off. Although i could get it repaired, honestly i felt it was a good excuse to get myself a new one and chose to give my old one to charity.Of all the reviews i have read, the one that i felt had any true meaningful information was a gentleman that was an engineer that said that the plastic on the tank was too brittle. Armed with this information, i did go to my local Hoover store to see what they had in stock. Good....at first
We purchased the All Terrain about six months ago. The instructions are very well written and assembly was easy. I fired it up for the first time and it cleaned the carpets beautifully. I thought we had a real winner. After that initial use the problems began to creep up. Starting with the second use, the clean water tank began leaking around the seal at a fairly significant rate. I probably should have returned the unit, but I didn't, and now regret it because it is now totally out of commission. The brushes are connected to the unit via a drive shaft that is less than 1/4" thick plastic. On our cleaner this shaft sheered off and is stuck in the unit. Only at this point did I do any serious research about the All Terrain on the Internet and realized that these two issues are very common with these units and apparently dealing with Hoover for repair can be a nightmare. Caveat Emptor

i have cream colored berber carpet. i am hsving a heck of a time finding a cleaner to spot clean with. i have tried several, but they don't quite do it.
My latest problem is sliding a cardboard box down the stairs, and now the nose of each step

By evening (we almost never started our home improvement projects in daylight -- again, I forget why), we'd decided the carpet scraps would make a fine mosaic rug for that dining room floor and that the fuchsia paint would look equally fine on the... In any case, we were off on a buying trip to charity stores and thrifts one Saturday and came across a treasure trove of carpet scraps tucked under a display table, as well as four quarts of paint marked fuchsia. But no one had scored a rug for the very cold dining room floor, which was standing in as the TV/party room. I forget why we weren't using the living room, but there must have been some logical reason. I was living in a commune near campus in those halcyon days of yore, and just like about all the other college students, we were very poor. It seemed like a very good idea at the time. We happily carted our swag home, not really sure what we'd do with it all but certain something would suggest itself.
