Fun ceiling pullsI ordered two of these for my little boy's ceiling fan, and they are very cute. I wanted diecast metal with a moving propeller, but these really look pretty good for plastic. My son loves them.
Perfect accessory
The plane ceiling fan pull was exactly what we wanted. It is of high quality and very cute. It was a nice addition to our grandson's room.
Nice detail
Nice detail. It's ceramic and therefore breakable. First one I bought fell and broke to 3 peices immediately. Seller was kind enough to ship out a replacement immediately. I hope this one holds out. It's really cute though.

Well Made FanThis fan makes a great addition to our kids room.The fan is very well made and runs very quietly. You can tell it has a high quality motor and bearings.The only negative is when we were installing it, we knocked the glass light cover which fell out and smashed on the floor. Thus make sure it is not mounted while you are hanging it.
Great fan, a bit bigger than expected
This is a great fan, the only downside is that I didn't realize how big it is (my bad for not reading the description). Fan is 17" in height, which makes it hang kind of low on an 8 ft ceiling. Would have looked great in the room, but unfortunately we had to return it.
Nice fan but. . . .
The fan installs very easily, runs quietly and looks great. But, it was advertised as coming with a remote and mine did not. That was important to me and it ended up costing me another $40 at Home Depot for an aftermarket remote. Just be aware. Otherwise, it's a great fan for a kid's or play room.

Great Conversation StarterBought one of these for my pilot husband. EVeryone loves it. So quiet. Doesn't hum or wobble at all. The nose light sets it off. A little pricey but the positive comments are worth it.Have had this product for 4 years now and it still works and looks as good as the day we put it up. And we're still getting lots of compliments on the originality of it. Highly recommend this product.
My Son loves it!
I bought this to replace a fairly normal looking fan in my Son's bedroom. He loves it!Installation was easy and they supply all the parts you need. The instructions are good and everything worked first time.My only small complaint is the price - it's not a high-tech item, you are paying for the design. Having said that I'm so pleased with it that I will probably buy a similar one for the game room.

can be greatthis is massive when measuring from wing tip to wing tip. around 8ft! would look best on an extended height ceiling due to it's size. very cartoon-ish looking. had an artist friend paint over all of it to make it look realistic. now it is fantastic. definitely have to add high grade glue to keep the wings from falling down. has NO lights. we added tiny lights to the underside of the wings to look like part of the landing gear. had a sky mural painted to the ceiling along with a "smoke trail" coming out the back of the plane. it is a show stopper now!!!

The wing tips kept peeling off. Not enough adhesive placements. We have to use a cement glue to keep the wings from peeling off from the ceiling. It didn't come with light kit/light. I wish I could still return this...
Very cool fan
This fan is awesome. My 3 year old loves it. Very large (8 foot) wing span, and it doesn't have a light, so make sure you have the ceiling space and another light source. I also recommend using a block of wood to lay flat against the ceiling spikes. They have to be flat to get optimal mounting surface. I used just a hammer and bent mine so I had to glue the plane decals to hold them in place. I am definitely impressed with the quality and realistic look of this product. Great buy!

Actually Leonardo DiVinci drew out the first specs for helicoptors in his many works. He had the idea down but was missing only a few details to actually invent it. So, I guess you could say air craft with propellers was before motorized fans in that

relativity test in a ceiling fan?
if a watch is placed in a very high speed fan, would it show the relativity effect as the relativity was tested by taking atomic watch in an aeroplane around the world to test time lag.
i mean wouldn't the test would have done on the ground instead
That's an interesting question. As a spaceship approaches the speed of light there is a space contraction (shorter spaceship) only in the direction of motion and a time distortion as well. In circular motion there likely should also be a space contraction

Lighting Up the Living Room
I love having glowing lamps as opposed to the severe overhead lighting housed in our ceiling fan. Like this lamp. I practically ran back to the lamp section and was able to find one with a neat shape. ), it was definitely obvious that the opposite side of the room needs some additional lighting. I'll start keeping a more-attentive eye out for something to illuminate that space (yippppeeeee. A new goal. 99, though, it was certainly worth the risk.
