Finally an Air Purifier that brings the "Goods"I purchased this unit a month ago after an extensive search for the "perfect" purifier at a good price. I went through the " I don't know about this brand blues" or " look at the price " comparing the others makes and models.But I was sold when I called the company and talk to customer service after viewing the "you tube" presentation, they were honest and answered every question I had, I also like that I could return it no question ask if I didn't like it. The unit has more bang for the buck than any units I compared it to, and really their was no other unit that could match the combo of purification it has. This unit has 9 stages not 1 or 2 like the store brands. Well the unit arrived quick and setup was easy I was afraid it would be loud compared to what I heard at the stores but to my surprise it was perfect on "auto" and like all the reviewers are stating you will notice the difference in hours if not minutes this machine really works. I would buy again !
Skeptical at first but this is a great product.
To tell you the truth I was pretty skeptical of this machine at first. I had never heard of the company. They are not one of the major air purifier companies, etc. But I have been proven wrong. This product is great! We've had ours running almost 24 hours a day for about nine months. It is quiet. It takes a ton of dust out of the air. It is easy to clean. What else could you want? The shipping was fast. Customer support people answer the phone and are friendly. They have short YouTube videos giving you really easy instructions on how to clean. I love this machine. If you're looking for a air purifier, I think you're going to love this one. We do.

This air purifier has CURED my house's stuffy smell, lessened the amount of dust and staying at home isn't giving me headache anymore because of the non-fresh air!! When I come home everyday from outside I would smell a dull & stuffy scent, and I consider myself to be very clean and cleanse my house daily. But was it still not enough? Was it something invisible in my house that is making the stuffy smell and damaging my health without I realizing it? After everything I tried, vacuum daily, open windows, change garbage bag daily etc, I finally went to research for the cure for root of the troubles. I have found that every households that has carpet or pets are most likely infected with dust mites and I found that molds are also damaging to our health since both of those harmful substances can lead to asthma once breathed in or skin irritations if get in contacted!! One of the best portable ACs, still not perfectThe Soleus LX-140 is actually the third portable AC we had in the household. The fist, a discontinued Hampton Bay model worked well and is still operating in a second bedroom. The next, the Sunpentown WA-1010e, was terrible, could only cool the room by about 4 degrees, and broke after a year.On to the Soleus. The most important thing in a portable AC is obviously cooling ability, and the Soleus lives up to its claims of being one of the more powerful units available. At 14,000 BTU, it has proven capable of getting my 150 sq ft bedroom down to 70 degrees on hot nights, and on sweltering summer days when it's in the upper 90's, it can drop the temp around 15 - 20 degrees if we completely shut out any sunlight and leave the unit runnign on high. This may not seem like a huge drop, but it's about the best one can expect from a portable unit. It is also capable of cooling our larger 300 sq ft master suite, although it maxes out at about a 15 degree drop when it's hot and sunny...
Soleus - don't throw away your money
I paid $600 for Soleus PH4-12R portable a/c + heatpump. I was very happy for about three months, seemed to perform to specs. I even posted a very favorable review.But then it revealed it's true colors.After about 3 months the blower developed a rubbing or bearing noise, transforming the unit to near intolerable.After 5 months the unit simply went dead, not even any lights on the controls. Yes, wall outlet has power.Soleus warranty requires me to ship unit two directions to CA for warranty service. Troublke is, warranty does not cover shipping. After an estimate to pack for shipping = $50, and shipping the 100# unit two directions by UPS for $150 each, my "warranty" repair is $350. They have no service centers except their factory.If I ship back, I will have invested $950 in this unit which has already proven it has no reliability. And there is no guarantee that they will not find some arcane reason to honor the warranty, despite my...
