Birkenstock Rocks!
I'm a big Birkenstock fan and have been since about 1987 when I bought my first pair of Milano sandals. I'm on my second pair of Londons. These are great shoes! The craftmanship is superb! The contoured footbed make walking and standing very comfortable even for long hours at a time.If you're new to Birkenstock, I HIGHLY recommend you visit a birck & mortar Authorized Birkestock dealer for proper sizing. They are sold in European sizing. A man's size 9 - 9.5 is about a 42 European, 10 - 10.5 is 43, 11 - 11.5 is 44. But the important issue is the footbed, this is why I say to visit a store. Regardless of you're shoe size, if your foot doesn't fit the footbed correctly, you won't get a comfortable fit. STAY AWAY from the cheap Wal-mart knock offs! They're not as good and the sizing isn't correct. If I sound like a salesman for Birkenstock, I'm not. I've just worn them for many, many years and have had many different styles. My second pair
I have flat feet and lower back problems. I'm a nurse, so this can be a problem. I noticed that I could wear my Birkenstock sandals and not have fatigue or soreness at the end of the day, so I got these for work. These are my second pair, and I LOVE them. I wish Birkenstock made cool boots...Perfect for people with flat feet and slight lower back issues. Good support and cushion.

Excellent Shoes for Chefs!
As a chef, I've been wearing Birkenstock London Clogs now for over 20 years in professional kitchens. I'm on my feet for 10 - 12 hours daily and these shoes never let me down. Once you adjust the buckle, you can just slip the shoes on and off with ease. Also, I am a size 8 man and I order the size 41 regular width (I have wide feet). I should also mention that I have chronic joint pain in my toes and heels, and these shoes take away the pain and make me feel like I am walking on air - they almost massage your feet. They fit like a glove and shine up nicely too. Always comfy, never smelly - My favorite shoes, hands down.

The Perfect Sandal
I have big feet - and so I am limited in the brands and styles of sandals I can wear. I just bought my fourth pair of these sandals, and I get between two and three years wear from each pair of sandals.This is especially good when you consider that I live in Florida and wear sandals almost all the time.They generally stay on because they have ridges on the insole that your feet can grab. The arch support is excellent.I have never had the uppers fail - eventially I wear the soles clean off and then they need to be replaced.

Birkenstock soft footbed is comfort with a capital "C"
I love Birks... this purchase is replacing a pair of black suede Arizona sandles that I wore and did not take care of this winter!I do own over 30 pairs of Birks all different styles and types...However, this is the first pair of "soft footbed" Birks I have purchased and WOW! what comfort! They appear to be identical to my old pair but that little layer of foam in the footbed makes a wonderful difference. I have been wearing them to walk on my treadmill every evening instead of my "sneakers". If I have a choice of traditional footbed or soft footbed I will always pick the soft footbed when I puchase any pair of Birks from now on !

Gizeh Love
I'd been admiring this particular Birkenstock sandal for years, but for some reason never tried them on or purchased. On a recent trip to Genova, I only brought along my Dansko clogs. While comfortable, they're the wrong shoe for 70F to 80F warm weather. So I figured what the heck. I need to buy some sandals, let me finally give the Gizeh by Birkenstock a go. I tried on a pair in silver, and it was like slipping on Cinderella's glass slipper. I had to have them! They were so comfortable, right out of the box. Been wearing them daily ever since (to work, around the house - I rarely want to take them off), and so enjoy them that I also bought additional pairs in Moroccan Gold and Tango Red, as well as a back-up pair of the silver - all from Amazon.

Gizeh Addict
Due to an old ankle injury, I pretty much only wear Birkenstocks. Then, living in the desert, I wear Gizehs and am always looking for fancy ones.I ordered these red patent "leather" Gizehs and absolutely love them. I've been wearing them for a few months now and the red is still true, and they look as good as new.Highly recommended sandal. You can walk and stand for a long time and look snazzy, too. I get comments on these Birks all the time.

One of the nicer looking Birkenstocks!
I own several pair of Birkenstocks but usually only wear them around the house and to run errands on the weekends because I don't feel they are very attractive and actually make my feet look wider than they actually are. HOWEVER, because I developed plantar facitis in my left foot a couple months ago, I ordered these particular Birkenstocks (Gizeh) in hopes they looked a little nicer and I could wear them to work. Sure enough, THEY DO!!! I liked the look of them on my feet so much that I ordered another pair in a different color. These sandals have all the advantages of the comfort of a Birkenstock while, at the same time, being somewhat attractive on your feet! I highly recommend them!
